Cerreto 7 is the result of the complete renovation of a 130 sqm apartment in Trieste, in the Barcola district, designed by RNDR Studio. The project aims to redefine the space through a contemporary approach focused on proportions and material quality, avoiding decorative or unnecessary elements.
Material selection follows a minimalist approach and a clear intent for coherence. Grey stone surfaces cover floors, walls and furniture, creating a compact and ordered environment, while wood flooring introduces a warmer note. Large windows ensure a constant flow of natural light, enhancing surfaces and selected materials. Artificial lighting is integrated and discreet, supporting volumes without overpowering the architecture. The project is based on the continuity of surfaces and on a balance between materials, light and furnishings, resulting in a clear and readable space. Spatial layout improves usability and clarity, with integrated storage solutions becoming part of the architecture. This approach is also evident in the bathroom, where the vanity seems to emerge from the same material as the surrounding surfaces, while the glass shower enclosure maintains visual continuity without interrupting the space.
In the bathroom, material continuity defines a compact and ordered space. Every element has been carefully considered in relation to materials and surfaces. For the tapware, the Toki collection was selected, part of the Radomonte range made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The collection stands out for its clean design and balanced proportions. The Toki medium basin mixer, with its cylindrical geometry, integrates naturally into the stone surface, while in the shower area the Toki built-in system is paired with a coordinated shower head, helping to maintain a coherent and ordered composition. The Toki WC flush plate, in the same finish, blends discreetly into the stone cladding and reinforces the visual continuity between technical elements and architecture.
The bathrooms are completed with Round accessories — soap dispenser, tumbler, toilet roll holder and brush holder — selected in the same finish to ensure consistency between tapware, accessories and architectural surfaces. The finish in brushed Roseè PVD introduces a warm tone that balances the grey stone without altering its overall harmony. The satin metal softly reflects light, adding depth and character without becoming dominant.
Cerreto 7 expresses a contemporary way of living based on material quality, proportion and attention to detail. Every element contributes to a balanced and functional environment where architecture and technical components coexist naturally.
