In Forte dei Marmi, a top-floor penthouse with a large terrace equal in size to the apartment becomes the stage for a change of rhythm. The owners wanted a home capable of expressing a more exuberant way of living, what they jokingly call their “Design Deficit Syndrome”, without sacrificing taste or coherence.
interior designer Deniz Onel ed the project with careful attention to materials and perceptive quality.
The choice of materials forms the common thread: verified origins, meticulous craftsmanship and, above all, Carrara marble as a unifying element, reinterpreted in different textures to create rhythm, continuity and identity.
The bathroom is the heart of the project, a space where marble, in its four variations, defines planes and vertical surfaces through a play of veins, grain and reflection.
Against this material backdrop, the choice of tapware was entrusted to Radomonte for the strength and precision of AISI 316L stainless steel. The space features the Dixi basin mixer and the Dixi shower system, both in a brushed PVD Carbon finish, whose deep tone creates an elegant contrast with the whiteness of the Carrara marble. The lines of Dixi are clean and balanced, designed to dialogue with the geometry of the space and preserve its equilibrium.
For Deniz Onel, finding tapware that could match the level of the project was essential. The choice of Radomonte arose from this need, as what distinguishes the brand is the immediate sensation its taps convey, a firm, steady and compact movement that communicates strength and precision. The brand’s design looks beyond aesthetics, embracing functionality in all its nuances, an experience perceived through touch when mechanical quality becomes part of the design itself.
Through a continuous dialogue between materials, light and texture, designer Deniz Onel shapes an environment where Radomonte’s design philosophy finds its natural expression.
The result is an authentic and personal space that reflects the clients’ vision, where every detail contributes to a sense of harmony.
